Ezekiel 35:25-26
I will sprinkle clean water upon you to cleanse you from all your impurities, and from all your idols I will cleanse you. I will give you a new heart and place a new spirit within you, taking from your bodies your stony hearts and giving you natural hearts.

The prophet Ezekiel foretold of a Love that became human flesh in Jesus. God’s love for us is unconditional. It’s a love that will go to any lengths to lift, heal, redeem and restore us. It has nothing to do with reward and punishment. God did not make us imperfect in order to punish us for being imperfect! It is so we can experience what true love is…a Love that can look down from the cross and say, “Father, forgive them, they know not what they do.” God’s love is restorative…not retributive. Once you experience this Love you are forever transformed. You will be able to look upon others in their imperfect state and pass on the same transforming compassion. God’s love changes hearts. Allow this Love to cleanse you and give you a new spirit!
