2 Peter 1:18-19
We ourselves heard this voice come from heaven while we were with him on the holy mountain. Moreover, we possess the prophetic message that is altogether reliable. You will do well to be attentive to it, as to a lamp shining in a dark place, until day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts.

Peter was with James and John when Jesus was transfigured into dazzling white on a mountain. They heard the voice of God announce to them that Jesus was His chosen Son and to listen to Him. Jesus was the perfect reflection of God. We are called to follow Jesus and His ways by using our unique gifts and talents so that we are unique yet imperfect reflections of God as well. Are you being attentive to the Divine Voice that names you the beloved son or daughter?
