1 John 4:9
In this way the love of God was revealed to us: God sent his only Son into the world so that we might have life through him.

God…scripture says…is Love. It’s an incomprehensible…unconditional Love. This love took flesh in Jesus. His whole life was to show us the love, mercy, forgiveness and compassion of God…as well as God’s equal acceptance and inclusivity of all people. Of course…this brought Him persecution and crucifixion. But resurrection and new life followed. Let this knowledge set you free! That same new life is promised to each of us…not only at death but through each daily struggle and “dying” to ourselves. If you want to have life and have it more abundantly (John 10:10)…then follow Jesus.
