Psalm 101:1

I sing of love and justice; to you, Lord, I sing praise.

Jesus taught that the greatest commandments were to love God and to love your neighbor as yourself (Matthew 22:37-39).

He also taught the “golden rule”: “Do to others whatever you would have them do to you” (Matthew 7:12).

Each of us must ask ourselves these questions:

Do I bring people together…or do I divide them?

Do I build up or do I tear down?

Am I a channel of God’s love to the world?

To I stand with the rejected and the outcast?

What is the song that you are singing with your life? 

When your life is a song of love and justice…then it is a song of praise to God.
