Ephesians 4:1-3
I, then, a prisoner for the Lord, urge you to live in a manner worthy of the call you have received, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another through love, striving to preserve the unity of the body and one Spirit…

What is the “call” you have received?
It is no doubt rooted in some passion you have or deep interest as well as a talent you were blessed with.
It is never too early or too late to start responding to that call.
The call will lead you to help or to serve others.
This is what it’s like to be a follower of Jesus…not simply a believer.
It’s not easy. St. Paul ended up in prison and eventually put to death.
Jesus promised that his followers would be persecuted.
But despite the hardships, Paul urged us to treat others with humility, gentleness, and patience.
Do we bear with one another to preserve the unity of the body of Christ…or are we quick to cast out or reject those who differ with us?
We are all called to work for unity.
Jesus ate with the tax collectors and the sinners.
Do we?
