You’ve heard the saying, “You can’t take it with you.”

Why does today’s verse from St. Paul seem so obvious and yet so thoroughly ignored by much of the world?

So many people spend their lives trying to accumulate more and more wealth and possessions…only to leave it all behind when their earthly lives end.

As each moment passes…you are one moment closer to exiting your earthly experience.

Each of our lives is a precious gift from God.

How will you spend each “next moment” of that precious gift?

Will you pursue wealth to build your own kingdom that will end in dust or will you be a channel of your Creator’s love in building God’s kingdom that will last forever?
