Luke 18:41-43
Jesus asked him, “What do you want me to do for you?” He replied, “Lord, please let me see.” Jesus told him, “Have sight; your faith has saved you.” He immediately received his sight and followed him, giving glory to God.

Interesting question from Jesus to a blind man, isn’t it?
“What do you want me to do for you?”
The blind man had been calling out to Jesus to “have pity on me.” Jesus showed great humility and respect in not taking for granted that he already knew what the man wanted.
So…what do you want Jesus to do for you?
Is what you want something you really need for your wholeness and goodness?
Contemplate that question in the silence of your heart.
The blind man had faith that Jesus would provide him what he needed.
He also had the courage to step out of his comfort zone and ask Jesus for help.
Then in response to receiving his sight…he followed Jesus “giving glory to God.”
Do we have the courage to step out of our comfort zones, call out to Jesus and boldly ask him to help us?
We can either accept the status quo in our lives and remain stuck in our spiritual growth…or we can follow Jesus on the path to our true selves and enlightenment.
That path won’t be easy…but will lead you to peace and freedom.
