Psalm 62:2
My soul rests in God alone, from whom comes my salvation.
This sounds trite but is profound. It’s the key to life to the full. Only God will bring you to completion and fullness (salvation!). Do not read this through the lens of “reward and punishment.” God is not out to get you…but to complete you! God wants you to grow into the fullness of the unique expression of God-self. Other than God, nothing…absolutely nothing…can lead you to the fulfillment of your purpose. Practice contemplative prayer…spending time in silence…allowing the distractions to drift away…so that your soul will experience truly resting in the Divine Presence. The more you do this…the more that Silent Presence will manifest itself amidst the struggles and busy-ness of your day.

*** For so long in my life, I often thought of myself as a mistake in society….because of the complications that I suffered from being misdiagnosed with a virus and it was really Juvenile Diabetes. Through this illness, I suffered 1 major diabetic stroke, and 4 mini diabetic strokes, which in turn effected my short term memory. It’s not that I forget every little thing…but now, I have to make sure(which I do) write everything IMPORTANT down…or I will lose the info. As well, after I suffered the strokes…I became mute for over a month. Which now, hasn’t ruined my speech(for I speak very well)…but I learned the PASSON OF SILENCE. This all happened TO ME BACK WHEN I WAS ONLY 14 years old…and now, at the age of 37 years old, I am very much trying to GET BACK MY LIFE. Not to say that I lost things in my life that would have mattered a lot to me. Because my LIFE today is so much FULLER, because our LORD gave me HEART to UNDERSTAND OTHERS….COMPASSION TO HELP THOSE IN NEED…. and the GIFT OF ACCEPTANCE, BECAUSE SOME ARE NEVER ACCEPTED. I feel as though, I lost a lot…but yet then again: I have gained so much more in my life. Giving up was never-ever a word in my vocabulary. RATHER ENCOURAGEMENT AND HANGING ON or…BEING PERSISTANT IN MY LIFE IS WHAT OUR LORD IS WANTING ME TO DO IN MY LIFE. I have learned that….I AM HIS CHILD, AND HE LOVES ME UNCONDITIONALLY. If I can do anything in my life today, I would truly very much like to CHANGE THIS WORLD TO BELIEV IN THE POWER OF WHAT OUR LORD, JESUS CHRIST CAN DO FOR US IN THIS WORLD TODAY.
