Isaiah 35:4-5
Say to those whose hearts are frightened: Be strong, fear not! Here is your God, he comes with vindication; With divine recompense he comes to save you. Then will the eyes of the blind be opened, the ears of the deaf be cleared.
The Prophet Isaiah foretold of the coming of the Messiah. God became human in Jesus. God became one of us. That’s how much God loves each of us. Jesus showed us how to live in order that we could experience the kingdom of God…the fullness of God’s love in the here and now. Whatever you are going through…no matter how bad it may appear to you…God is saying, “Be strong, fear not!” God promises to save us. We may not be able to fathom how…because we are spiritually blind and deaf until Christ opens our eyes and clears our ears. Come, Lord Jesus, come!
