Luke 1:36-37
“And behold, Elizabeth, your relative, has also conceived a son in her old age, and this is the sixth month for her who was called barren; for nothing will be impossible for God.”

Where in your life do you feel barren? Where is it in your life that you are struggling and in need of new life? Trust that God is able and willing to do the seemingly impossible! For God gave Elizabeth a son in her old age…a son who became John the Baptist. And God gave the Virgin Mary a Son who became the Messiah. Yet Mary remained a “virgin-mother.” Impossible? Nothing is impossible for God! Allow this paradox of “virgin-mother” to open your mind to a deeper mystery and a deeper truth.
