Matthew 25:40

In today’s scripture verse, Jesus gives us the bottom line.

Actions speak louder than words.

While love of God, neighbor and self are of the utmost importance…love can only be known through expression.

And Jesus made it clear that it was not sufficient to be compassionate only to those close to us.

It had to be extended across all boundaries…especially to those who were seen as “least” or last in society and culture.

For Christ is found in all people.

We are one in Christ.

Meditate on this until its truth resonates in you and all you see.
