Psalm 8:2

O LORD, our Lord, how awesome is your name through all the earth!

There have been many names for our Creator including God, Most High, Elohim, El-Shaddai, Yahweh, Jehovah, Adonai, Abba, and in Islam Allah.

But the name I really like is the one God gives when asked by Moses: “I am who I am. Then he added: This is what you will tell the Israelites: I AM has sent me to you” (Exodus 3:14).

“I AM”.

Beingness.

Of course the name is awesome and glorious through all the earth!

All things share in “beingness” with the Great I AM.

The whole universe shares in this I Am.

You and I share in this awesome, impossible-to-speak Name of Names.

And scripture also tells us, “God is love” (1 John 4:8).

The Eternal Creator is Love.

We are each unique expressions of this Love.

We are here to express Love.

Each of us needs to ask ourselves: How am I doing with this?
