Psalm 24:1

The earth is the LORD’s and all it holds, the world and those who dwell in it.

This planet is teeming with life of every sort…beyond our imaginations.

Somehow…the systems of life work together like a symphony.

And yet, this planet is a speck in the vast expanse of the universe.

How did it all begin?

Science tells us that at some point…over 13 billion years ago…there was a big bang and creation exploded into existence.

But…what was there before that?

The whole thing is mind boggling.

Reason tells me there must be a Creator.

And my faith in Jesus tells me that this Creator loves the universe, this little speck called Earth, and all of us…not to mention all the animals, insects, trees, plants, and yes…even the rodents.

Scripture tells us that God is love (1 John 4:8), and so I believe that Love is energizing and animating all of life.

And through Jesus, I know that death is not the end…but just a transition to life that has no end.

Love truly wins.
