Luke 21:5-6

While some people were speaking about how the temple was adorned with costly stones and votive offerings, he said, “All that you see here—the days will come when there will not be left a stone upon another stone that will not be thrown down.”

We all get caught up in our stuff…whether it’s our cars, homes, tech-gadgets, etc.

Whatever it is…they will not last.

All material things are passing away.

Our physical bodies will also have to die.

It’s not to say that we shouldn’t take care of material things…or especially our bodies, but it’s a matter of perspective.

What are the things we are making our top priorities?

Are they things that won’t last…or that will?

Jesus said the most important endeavor in life…is to love (Matthew 22:36-39).

When we leave this earthly life, the only thing that will endure is love.

So before speaking or taking action, allow love to be your motivation.
