Isaiah 35:4-5

Here is your God, he comes with vindication; With divine recompense he comes to save you. Then the eyes of the blind shall see, and the ears of the deaf be opened.

Is this how we view God?

This description is not of some angry ogre looking to punish but a Benevolent Hero looking to restore.

Isaiah tells of a God who comes with a reward…not a punishment.

The reward is healing.

It’s restoration to wholeness.
