Isaiah 29:17-18

Surely, in a very little while, Lebanon shall be changed into an orchard, and the orchard be considered a forest! On that day the deaf shall hear the words of a scroll; And out of gloom and darkness, the eyes of the blind shall see.

Transformation is happening…even if we can’t see it.

The Spirit is at work…as sure as the seeds germinating underground that one day will create an orchard and even a forest.

New life is in progress…but it comes from the ashes.

There must be death for there to be life…and there must be life for there to be death.

This is the cycle of God’s creativity.

When we trust God…trust a Higher Power…and surrender our ego’s desires…we may feel as if we are dying.

But this is the path to finding our true selves.

As Jesus said, “Unless a grain of wheat falls to the ground and dies it remains a grain of wheat; but if it dies, it produces much fruit” (John 12:24).

So in times of darkness…let go…and trust that you are being led to new life.

Love will always lead you home.
