Psalm 103:1

Bless the LORD, my soul; all my being, bless God’s holy name!

When it feels like the world is crumbling, when it feels like there is just so much pain and suffering, know that while there are many problems, nothing can truly harm you.

Sure, your physical body can be harmed.

But the real you, your soul, your spirit, is eternal.

Through Jesus we know that death is not the end.

Life goes on transformed.

We also know by many, many testimonies of Near Death Experiencers that Love is victorious.

After all, scripture tells us that God is love (1 John 4:8).

When Moses asked for God’s name, God said: “I AM” (Exodus 3:14).

That means God is Is-ness or Being itself.

So Being-ness or Is-ness is also Love.

St. Paul said that in God we “live and move and have our being” (Acts 17:28).

So, in Love itself we exist.

This is heady stuff!

So let’s get out of our heads and into our hearts.

Simply let the experience of this Love in which we live bring you peace.

Breathe in deeply the breath of life.

Exhale the breath back that gives life to nature around you.

Though some human beings are acting in unconscious ways, we must be bearers of light and peace.

With each breath may we bless God, may all that we are be a blessing to all that is.

And may our words and actions be extensions of the Love that fills us.
